About The Aniara Quartet

The Aniara Quartet was formed in 1995, when the members were still studying at music conservatories throughout Europe.
The ensemble is based in the Stockholm/Uppsala region and they have performed extensively in Scandinavia and large parts of the world,

The Aniara Quartet has been dedicated works by some of the leading scandinavian composers. They recently had a close working relationship to Norwegian accordionist Geir Draugsvoll, which resulted in a CD recording and a tour of China including concerts and masterclasses in Wenzhou, Xiamen, Nanning and other cities.
